He was awarded Honors of the Association from ASHA, the Presidential Citation, its highest award from The American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and he was the second recipient of The Jerger Lifetime Research Career Award from the American Academy of Audiology.
His research and discoveries have been cited in Time Magazine, That’s Incredible, Discover Magazine and on the Today Show. As an experienced clinician, he has been the Director of what was cited by Family Circle Magazine as “The Country’s Best Clinic for Hearing Health Care," and is universally recognized as “The Teacher’s Teacher."
